pattern interrupt in medical sales
Transcript
I want you to try this on your next sales call, specifically a cold call. And it's called pattern interrupt. Don't be doing what all the other reps be doing, calling in, saying, oh my god, how are you? Is now a good time? Blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. No, no, no. You want to disrupt what they're usually expecting. You can say, what did I catch you in the middle of? Is now a bad time? People are drawn to say no. So allow this process to continue being automatic by asking no-based questions and interrupting what they're usually going to expect from a sales call. Try it on your next call and let me know how it goes.

pattern interupt is a proven strategy in cold calling! Try it :-) further options include: Direct + self-aware “Dr. Smith, this is Alexandra, totally a cold call. Can I have 20 seconds to tell you why I called?” Permission-based “Dr. Smith, I’m going to make this really easy, if what I’m calling about isn’t relevant, you can hang up on me. Fair?” Curiosity “Dr. Smith, quick question. are you currently doing anything with ___” Disarming “Dr. Smith, I promise I’m not calling to ask you how your day is going. I have a very specific question for you.”#medicalsalesrep #medicalsales
