Hook
People don't dance bc they're being recorded Why doesn't anyone dance anymore? Like, no one dances. I swear when I go out, no one dances anymore. Okay, so you're right, but I'm going to tell you the two major reasons that when you go to the bar, you will not see people ages, let's say 21 to 30 participating in this, like, silent non-chalant competition where if you show any joy, if you put any effort into literally anything you're doing at all, it's cringe. It's immediately like, oh my god, like other people literally get second-hand embarrassment so bad. That makes me very sad for them. Like, I feel sorry for people who go through life like that. That's crazy. I can't imagine living my life trying my hardest not to experience any of it. Number two, it's because you people, more specifically people who have some growing up to do. You people record everything. You record anything. Somebody could really, I have seen some people who can dance. I live in New York and I love going out to places where people dance because I love to dance. Am I good at it? No. But I'm a girl, so luckily no one criticizes me. But I have seen some really great dancers and I have fun just watching them. I will see them stop dancing and either go somewhere else in the club or just leave altogether. Or they don't dance again that night because somebody is randomly recording them. Someone they don't know, right? And you can never be sure if they're recording it in a positive way, which most likely not. It's going to end up on some random page or whatever being like, oh my god, like look at this guy or look at this girl like absolutely drunk off their ass last night dancing at the club. Is that, is that morally reprehensible behavior? Is that illegal to go to a place that sells alcohol and plays music to dance and drink and dance? Is that, should we all be ashamed for participating? Shut the fuck up. Like seriously, I'm so tired of it. Of course, like I wish that people would dance more, but I also understand why they don't because like, bro, you're literally standing over there with your phone acting like a loser, waiting for somebody to slip up so you can post this somewhere. Like, you're the embarrassing one. Waiting for somebody to slip up and you're just going to post it.
