So on the 8th of October, we put our bid in and I received a phone call and from the guys at KPMG at 6:00 PM to say we're going to announce at 9:30 in the morning that Hays Travel of just acquired the retail estate of Thomas Cook. How did you feel? Excited. Worried. Responsible. And a mixture of emotions really. And and we then went on to offer, just short of 3000 people jobs and, and that was joyous.
