lately I have been obsessed with the concept of a quantum leap which is the idea that a prolonged period of hardship will create an exponential shift and growth in your life and the requirement for entry is a dramatic dismantling of your internal ceilings mental conditioning and belief systems basically it requires you to lock in through a period of significant uncertainty does it work or is it real and the jury is still out but in this last year in a season of finally having the courage to leave my job in investment banking speak publicly on the internet launch and fail at launching a business but getting up and doing it anyway I feel like I've done more in nine months than I have in the past 10 years and I realized like all ambitious people I struggle to ever feel like I've done enough because the wins feel like the bare minimum even though objectively they aren't and shouldn't be yet when I step out of my head I understand the quantum leap I always thought was the leap of the business succeeding to a defined criteria of success revenue whatever but I no longer believe that so much I think the quantum leap is actually the person who I've become through the journey which is so cheesy I know but if I can impart you with one thing I've learned the hard way so you don't have to it would be to treat your life and your business like a science project
