If you remember this video, this client came for a trim but needed a haircut. Of course, when I posted this, all of the length over health warriors flooded my comments and not only was I everything but a child of God, I was called "scissor happy" by everyone across the world. But meanwhile, this is the damage that she was sitting with. There were even alleged licensed professionals saying that this was a lie. The light detector test determined that was a lie. But I'm not really here to dwell on the past. This client came back and let me show y'all what her hair looks like now. She has very high texture, pretty high density hair. So I like to work in multiple sections when I am detangling and blow drying her hair. And even as I was detangling and going through the blow dry process, I already knew that her hair was going to look much better. It wasn't snagging, I wasn't getting that push back. And then as I'm blow drying, you can see the full density from root to ends. And would you look at that? As suspected, her ends look great. Which is so crazy because y'all said that her hair was thin and that it was supposed to be see-through. Hmm. Maybe y'all should just say less. Moving on. Anyway, she got a silk press today. And again, as you can see, her ends are in amazing condition. So when it came time for me to pull out the shears, she actually only needed a dusting today. Which is crazy that I did that because I thought someone who was scissor happy and jealous would give a dusting. I should have cut her back into a bob. I love that we are debunking so many theories today. I'm extremely proud of my client for putting in the work and following the regimen that I provide for her. So we could overcome this battle of breakage that she was dealing with. And the finished product came out beautifully. A year later, we now know that the routine works and if she continues to follow it, her hair will continue to flourish. Now make that y'all last time questioning the queen.
