And while we're DON'T ask me for PR. Sorry, I raised my voice. Ha! I have so much respect for influencers, *especially* micro influencers. I understand how hard it is to build an audience, to post content, to be on a consistent schedule. I get it, because I'm essentially a micro influencer for my brand. And this is absolutely no shade to anybody who sent me request for PR. Because you know what? I get it. Most things in life you get because you shot your shot. And I'm really proud of you for having the confidence to put yourself out there like that. That's a big step. Here's the unfortunate reality of owning a small business. Any of the product that I sell right now is going to go right back into the business. It's gonna be to buy our next products and to host our next drop. And I'm not even making any money yet. Now, while we're already on hot takes, I'll just say I don't really even like the idea of influencer marketing. Sure, I can speak on behalf of many other small businesses as well when I say, if you wanna show up on my radar, purchase a product, even if it's an inexpensive one, and post about it authentically. Engage with my content. I know most of the people who engage with my content on a first name basis. What I more so care about is somebody who genuinely believes in me and the brand that I'm building, and therefore, They're authentically interacting with it. If you do want into PR, here's the best advice I can give you: Buy the piece, use it authentically, and post about it because you love it, not because you want free product. As always, I love you. And again, no shame to anybody who shot their shot. I appreciate you having the confidence to do that.
