Can we talk about this obsession creators have with being kicked off PR lists? Because I'm and I'm gonna say something controversial. Not every brand should have a list. For my brand, Jean-Luc Cosmetics, I intentionally rotate who receives PR. And no, it's not because someone did something wrong. It's because sending PR to the same creators over and over and over again creates a bit of an echo chamber. The same faces, same voices, same audiences. Meanwhile, smaller creators never get a shot, new talent gets ignored, and brands wonder why their marketing starts to feel stale. It is my intentional and not just follow what everybody else is doing. Sometimes building a brand means questioning the rules and doing things a little bit differently. So I'm curious, should PR be about rewarding the same creators, or should brands give people a chance to be seen? Let me know in the comments. Bye.
