My question is do you have special gloves or Yes, I have special gloves specifically made for my left hand. Now, how so? My grandma, she knew how to sew, so she made me a glove a couple times in my lifetime. And when I didn't have that glove or my hands just outgrew it, I would use the sleeve of my jacket and velcro it. Yeah, it sucked. I know. Or I would try a mitten and kind of use it as protection. Forward to adulthood, I had a colleague that knows how to crochet and her name's Reagan, she got really saddened and was like, this is unacceptable, you need a glove. And so she took my measurements, she took my measurements, and this is also when I was really not secure with my body yet. So like doing the measurements and the drawings was a little bit uncomfortable at the time. It was a really big deal when she crocheted a custom-made glove that fit both of my fingers and had the mobility right here and here to be able to move skiing and hold the poles and have full autonomy with my body yet to use the equipment. And that was awesome. Now, because the wool got wet or I fell and snow got into it and it got really cold and just itchy. It wasn't a long-term solution, but it worked for what it needed to at that time. My ex-girlfriend at the time reached out to all of these brands, North Face, Burton, local companies here to ask if they can make a custom glove for me. And also, my close friend at the time took it upon herself to crochet one. What a generous gift and accommodation and I felt so seen and loved. And so now I have those special tea gloves. I also have extra large mittens that I can just slip on for both hands and have full coverage if I lose one or just need to go on a quick walk or run and have wind and cold weather protection.
