I have recently been accused of not embracing my natural hair. And honestly, I don't think you would embrace your natural hair if it looked like this. Obviously, I'm being facetious. However, these roots are incredibly grown out. So let's go fix them. So I actually went to the salon a week before this to get a trim and a treatment because my hair just needed that. And then I came back for my color. If you're in Melbourne, right, this salon I go to is in Clifton Hill and I get a copper chestnut blonde. I do not color my own hair anymore. I'm just not risking it. When I tell you I use Redken, I'm so serious about it. I love Redken so much, especially because of my color treatment. And look how healthy my curls are looking. You know me, couldn't help but add a little bit of volume. I also don't have a texture release. My curls are all this way because of the bleach and the dye. I also wanted to see what a little press look like. It wasn't a full press, it was actually with a blow-dry brush which turned out great. But we love our natural textures over here. So next time, let's be careful before we start slinging these accusations around.
