I have been wanting to color my hair for some time now, so you're coming along with me to my favorite Aveda salon in New York City. Let's go now. Finding a salon and stylist that you can actually trust with your color, especially for textured hair, is kind of a sacred thing. I've been in Colleen's chair for just shy of a decade now and there's a reason why she's the only one I let color my hair. I'm embracing change this season so we're going lighter and I'm thinking of a warm brown that really compliments my complexion.
