Did Tom Holland Do Better In 🕷️ The Odyssey or Spider-Man Brand New Day?

Does Tom Holland give a better performance in Spider-Man Brand New Day as Peter Parker or in The Odyssey as Telemachus? And Christopher Nolan's The Odyssey as Telemachus. And Zendaya who both star in The Odyssey and Spider-Man Brand New Day. I've seen Spider-Man Brand New Day early and The Odyssey six times. And I'm gonna tell you which performances were better and which one I recommend you for which actor. Let's first start off with Jon Bernthal who plays Menelaus in The Odyssey and Frank Castle, otherwise Punisher, in Spider-Man Brand New Day. I think if you're an MCU fan, you saw the Punisher, the last kill, all those years ago. You're gonna be more familiar and more in tune with his performance in Spider-Man Brand New Day. That's pretty obvious, right? Though I will say I think that we saw just, actually, we saw a good bit of that MCU comedy in his character in which I think is gonna turn some people off and even to me, I was a little bit like, hmm. I wouldn't say like an overhaul of he's smash mouth face. Minds probably is gonna throw some people off. Whereas when he's playing Menelaus, it's really straightforward. He's a king that's about his business. That's about bringing war to Troy, Helen back, jealous his brother Agamemnon. Much stronger performance in The Odyssey. I would give it to Menelaus. As for Zendaya, she plays Athena in The Odyssey and she plays Michelle Jones, MJ in Spider-Man Brand New Day. Now I believe she plays the manifestation of Athena and of Odysseus' inner psyche. That being said, she's not really on screen for that long in Spider-Man. She's on screen for like 10, 15 minutes. I've come accustomed to the non-chalant attitude that she brings to MJ Jones character, her kinship with Ned. I think if you love Zendaya's role in Dune, you're gonna love her role as Athena because they kind of go hand in hand with each other. It might come down to personal preference, but I'm gonna go with Michelle Jones, her role as MJ in Spider-Man, especially one scene with her and Peter on top of a building. As soon as you see it, you're gonna know what I'm talking about. She got it. Who and Tom Holland who plays Telemachus in The Odyssey. Because he's the main character, he's about like two hours, maybe a little bit less than that. In The Odyssey, on screen for, I wanna say 20 to 30 minutes. While I love The Odyssey, I thought his role in The Odyssey was very underwhelming. I've seen better from him. But Spider-Man Brand New Day, he is dealing with a lot. He's dealing with trauma, loss of his friends, and how he's he's trying to get that back. He has a city that's breathing down his neck because all this stuff is going on. He's dealing with the police. He's dealing with his body evolving in this weird way. And he confesses that so well. I mean, it's an easy layup.
