Spider-Man 3 has to be the worst of the Tobey Maguire, and I might even argue the worst of the Spider-Man movies period. If you're like me and you want to watch all the Spider-Man movies before Spider-Man Brand New Day comes out, then today we're watching Spider-Man 3. I'm gonna give you three seconds to go and watch the movie, then come back to this video. Okay? :03 :02 :01 Huh. So it's been a long time since I've actually watched Spider-Man 3 and there was there was a lot going on. Okay, it's doing too much for its own good. MJ and Peter into a relationship, married, possibly. Harry Osborn is out, the death of the Green Goblin, and Spider-Man, well renowned hero in New York, who is getting a key very soon. Things are looking up until they're not. You have the Harry Osborn story, which mind you, within the first 10 minutes, this guy basically all but almost dies and runs into an amnesia story where now he doesn't remember that he was actually going after Peter Parker or Spider-Man is infatuated again with MJ. MJ, who at this point is very annoying to me, has every right to not want to be with Peter because this man, after saving Gwen, who's played by a young Bryce Dallas Howard, on stage while the audience and has Gwen Stacy kiss him. Mind you, there's no Venom symbiote in his body. He just does this in front of MJ. I guess for publicity. What a dick move. That's the other thing. He's a dick the whole movie. One of the big factors of this movie was the Venom symbiote and the introduction of Eddie Brock's character. Obviously, we all once the Venom symbiote goes into Peter Parker, Black Spider-Man, and he turns into just a harsh villain that gives us some of the greatest memes of all time. I think a still love this is because it many historical memes. You got the, you got Eddie Brock and you Harry Osborn. And then you the Sandman, who I barely talked about. And Joanna Jameson. And then there's scenes that have really bad CGI. What happened from two to three in this movie was not good. So many factors are playing into this, but I can't give Spider-Man 3 any higher than two and a half out of five stars. And honestly, if it weren't for the iconic memes that came out of this movie and making me laugh so much, it would have got two out of five.
