Going on a solo day out and this is your sign to do the same. You need to get comfortable in your own company before you bring somebody else into your life. So if you're in your 20s, don't do it too much, but spending time alone to figure out what you enjoy in life. When I do this, I like to have a split between fun activities and some work. So you will see me packing my laptop and my notebooks and my headphones because I will be doing some co-working today in a cafe. And one thing I'm not doing is going out for breakfast because why would I pay someone to scramble eggs when I can do that myself? It's basically free money to spend on something else instead. I'm going to the cinema after breakfast. So I'm packing some snacks and I'm taking chai and a flask in this bag. We don't do overpriced movie snacks here. I'm sure the mums will be proud of that one. Speaking of mums, I can tell mine's been driving the car. I've been driving the car for a quick pit stop at Chaiwala on the way to the cinema. Shout out to these guys for actually filling up my flask. Large. Yeah, can I ask a big favor please? Could you pour it into here for me? Thank you so much. Chai and snacks secured. I'm at the cinema now and I'm watching The Odyssey in IMAX. One of the pros of doing a solo day is that you can get movie tickets and restaurant reservations easily because there's always a seat free. You just have to get over the fear of being alone. Honestly, nobody cares and there's so much peace in doing something like this by yourself. Oh my days, what a movie. If you haven't seen it, now 10 out of 10. Now that the movie is done, and the most important part of the day. If you can make it to the movie on time, you should be able to make it to your prayers on time. And we should normalize going to the mosque and making your prayers if you're not in Wudu and making your prayers, even if you're away from home. There is no excuse to miss your prayers when you're away from home. I think I found the perfect place. This place has natural lighting, big windows, greenery, good space, plug sockets, everything you need for work. And today I'm working on a bit of admin and I'm planning my personal branding event that I'm hosting in London next week. And I can sign up. On solo days like this, I'm really careful with my phone. So I try not to use it too much, no social media scrolling. I just focus on my work and I try to tune into my surroundings, listen to something nice, take in the nature around me. Go for walks in parks, you know, give my brain some time to breathe. I thought the day was done at this point. But when I got back home, I didn't have a key at nobody was home, so I ended up taking a nap on the swing outside. And by the time I did come inside, I had a meeting with one of the founders of my favorite companies. So I'm going to be working with them soon, Inshallah, and you'll see that in an upcoming video. At this point, I was so tired. But honestly, I haven't been to the gym for two days, so I dragged myself and I made sure I got a workout in at the end of the day. It was only like 25, 30 minutes long, but it still counts. Quick stop off at the mosque on the way home and I just took a shower, got myself ready for bed. And honestly, this is not exciting at all. I'm just reading. These days I've been reading a fiction book, so I just finished the day off with a couple pages and then I knocked out. If you're still listening, thanks for sticking around.
