5 careers I don’t want. I hope this shows some of the younger doctors how to figure out what you want in your career — I was always observant of details like lifestyle, schedule, work setting, length of training, money etc to figure out what my ideal path is I would say that once you figure out you’re favourite specialty, spend time doing everything else to the max while you can like I did with surgery. Once up specialise you won’t have that opportunity again, so enjoy not being in your favourite place in rotations bc that’s a unique experience and a blessing! #doctor #medicalstudent #medschool #medicine
