You might have seen this headline about Hank Green, a famous YouTuber saying he's paused uploading on multiple channels because he relies too heavily on AI. You've probably felt this feeling too. I know I have, where you first start using AI, it's really cool. You're like, this is so awesome. But then you catch yourself using it to reply to an email or doing something creative, and it just feels weird. Like you shouldn't be using it that way. I came up with my own super simple framework for whether you should be using AI to help you on a task. And it's number one, have you done that task over 100 times manually? And number two, do you not enjoy doing the task? Just hear me out. Like, think of any task that you might want to replace with AI and run it through those two questions. And if it fails either of them, don't replace it with AI. If you haven't done the task 100 times, you don't really know the ins and outs of it to know how to properly replace it with AI. And if you actually genuinely like doing the task, why would you want to replace it with AI?
