Training alone is fine. But without structure and feedback, you're just guessing. And guessing doesn't make you faster. 👉 Two things you need to fix first. 1️⃣ Structure. Your sessions cannot all look the same. Three sessions a week done right covers everything. ✅ One hard speed session. Short sprints, maximum effort, plenty of rest. ✅ One easy session. Low heart rate, technique focus, let your body recover. ✅ One threshold session. Strong sustainable pace, longer sets, controlled rest. 🔴 Never do two hard sessions in a row. Your muscles might feel okay but your nervous system takes much longer to recover. Pushing through it doesn't build speed. It builds fatigue. 2️⃣ Feedback. Without feedback you don't know what to fix. And you could be reinforcing the same mistakes every single session without realising it. 👉 Start tracking simple things every session. 🔵 Are your times dropping? 🔵 Are you doing fewer strokes per lap? 🔵 Are you less tired at the same pace? ✅ Those three things tell you everything about whether you're actually improving. 👉 And if you want to know exactly what's wrong with your stroke, film yourself on your phone and send it inside the Swim Success Training app. I'll personally review it and tell you exactly what to fix first. 🎯 The app also structures your training automatically so you never have to guess again. Every session is planned, every week builds on the last, and you can see your improvement clearly over time. Link in bio to get your first 7 days completely free.
