When I think of people reconnecting with a parent, I would just simply need to tell my mom to tell the truth. I wouldn't, I wouldn't need her to maybe get sober. I wouldn't need her to maybe change in a way. I would be open up the door and have a dialogue. If she's just kind of saying, you know, about my drinking for years, that things and I, you know, defended myself forever or whatever. And I know that that's why you needed to do. Just honesty.
