Presidents club trips are the worst deal in business lol

I don't know who needs to hear this but Presidents Club trips are a $4,000 trip designed to extract an extra $400,000 worth of effort from you. Do the math on your own trophy. Think about what you did to win the P Club trip, bro. The nights, the weekends, the deals you drive across the line the last week of the quarter. In your reward is a nice resort, maybe. And a photo with an executive that's not gonna remember your name in March. Then you fly home and boom, guess what? Your quota is now harder to hit. And guess what? It's justified because you just proved what's possible. I'm not saying don't be great. I'm just saying who profits from your greatness? Is it you getting a $4,000 trip or you're the one who won P Club? I won P Club trips. I wasn't gonna say no to a Presidents Club trip. But the trip is nice, the trade is terrible. What you should be doing, especially if you win P Club every single year, is be using your skills to start building something for yourself. That's what I did.
