budget my August income with me. As a 23-year-old girl working a 9 to 5 and a side hustle in social media, I cannot believe what we're already in August. This year has flown by. Starting off with my 9 to 5, I got paid £1,875.51. So first of all, I'm going to budget my fixed bills. Starting off my mortgage is £406.58. My service charge sits at £170.59. Council tax is £125. Electric is £100. Water is £40. Broadband and TV is £35. And my phone bill is £33.29. I do pay for Kindle Unlimited, which is £9.49. Spotify is £12.99. And iCloud storage, which is £2.99. I'm a bit of a scam. So, grand, already ticked off. Variable that every month. So petrol's around £60. And this is for a full tank. And I kind of put £200 together for shopping. This includes food for me and my cat, and then any extras like cleaning products. Finally, the fun part. So £200 goes to my stocks and shares. I am a saver. And £100 goes to my holiday and emergency fund, which has a higher interest rate than my cash ISA. £134 goes into my car pot. And then £25 goes into my Christmas slash birthday pot. Moving on to my side hustle. I received £1,899.18p into my business bank account. These payments were all collected from July and included a lot of overdue payments, so most months don't look this high, unfortunately. Any income that I receive from my side hustles, I always take a percentage away for tax and student loan purposes. And then the rest goes into my cash ISA. If you like watching budgeting videos, then definitely give me a follow because I'm planning to do these every single month.
