Budget my April pay. As a 26 y/o living alone. I actually got paid, that's the most important part. I got paid in total, so I work full time and obviously I do content creation. I got paid a total of 8,012 pounds. After tax, national insurance, I will take home 5,271 pounds. Of that money, 1,281 pounds will go on rent and bills, that kind of thing. I live alone in the city center in Manchester, so single person tax is real. Next we have direct debits, so I use a American Express credit card. I pay it off in full every single month, so this is everything I spent on it last month, which is 1,358 pounds. So that will be paid off in full along with my phone contract, iPhone storage, Oura ring subscription, all that kind of thing, and that comes to 1,400 pounds in total. Next up, we have savings and investing. So every month I always put aside 250 pounds into my holiday sinking fund pot. This is like non-negotiable because obviously if I want to go away, I want to know that the money is there. In terms of my investing category, this honestly depends entirely on how much I earn from content creation, so this fluctuates a lot. But this month I'm going to be investing 1,850. And then finally, we have just like my category. So things for like food shopping, nails, eating out, public transport, and this is always around 500 pounds. I always leave myself with about 500. I feel like that lasts me pretty well for the month. And that is literally all I do. I feel like my strategy is quite simple. I don't overcomplicate it. Yeah, I hope this helps.
