Back to school hairstyles part two. Today we're doing a double braided headband. Start by parting off a square section right above the ear, then split it in half and add it into two loose ponytails. I love this lightweight hair mascara to smooth down those baby hairs, then we're going to grab the topsy tail tool to flip each of those ponytails through. Make sure those ponytails are loose before flipping them through so they don't pull. Spin to the other side and we're going to part off another square section right above the ear. Smooth back the top section and clip it in place. Then we're going to split that square section in half and we're going to add three strand braid to each one. Before starting the braid, make sure to direct the hair upwards so that when you pull the braid across, the hair will lay flat. Take the braids across to the other side to create your double braided headband, then pull each of them through the topsy tail ponytails. Pull the braid through one wrap of the elastic to help hold it in place. Then pull the front pony through the back pony and secure with the elastic. This one is simple and quick, it takes less than 10 minutes to create, which is perfect for those busy back to school mornings. Follow along for more back to school hair!
