#1: Mariscos Jalisco Shrimp Taco 🍤

I have been driving around Pomona trying as many taco spots as possible. Here is my current ranking in order. Seven is tacos Jalisco, this is a classic taco spot that did everything really well. However the only real standout here was the chorizo. 6 is tacos Puro Jalisco. They cut the Al pastor fresh off the trompo for you here and it is probably the busiest taco spot on the entire list. Most locals will tell you this is their favorite spot. My personal go to is Taqueria De Anda. These are the cheapest tacos on the list at just $2.50 and the flavor is just right. This is what I picture in my mind when I think of a street taco. Borreguitas is making some of the most delicious tacos in town and they are 100 percent vegan. My personal favorite is the potato taco but you absolutely have to try their house made soy based proteins. Number three is Omañas. They have the best guisados in town by far. The chicharron and chili verde were both cooked just right and packed a ton of flavor. Number two is tacos Los Martinez. This is the only place in Pomona using hand made tortillas and grilling their asada over charcoal. They also have a trompo and do $1 Al pastor tacos on Tuesday and Sunday. Finally, my absolute favorite taco in town is the shrimp taco from Mariscos Jalisco. This is frequently mentioned as one of the best tacos in La and is an absolute must try in my opinion.
