Best Bakeries In the IE

This list clearly shows my bias towards flaky pastries, but I still wanted to share my hard work with yall. I have been looking for the best pastries in the IE since starting this page and here is my current list. 10: Mr Baker in Upland/Riverside. Awesome cakes and tons of options. I was also a big fan of the apple turnover. 9: Deaux, Redlands. They make gourmet donuts and have some of the best savory donuts I have tried. The peach cobbler donut nearly left me speechless. 8: Butter, Upland. This is my favorite spot for cookies. Their Filipino breakfast plates are always a great option with generous portions. 7: Risen, Upland. Literally my favorite baklava. The crunch when you bite into a piece is outrageous. The chocolate covered baklava is always a good choice. 6: Alebrijes Bakery, Rancho & Ontario. This is the best pan that I have tried. They also offer concha classes and hot food at their Ontario location. Family owned and operated. 5: Sweet Tooth 909, Rialto. Sweet tooth started as a home bakery and quickly out grew their home. They are now a bakery in Rialto serving the softest and biggest pastries in the IE. 4: Village Bread, Calimesa. They are truly artists when it comes to dough. They use a variety of flour blends fine tuned for each pastry or loaf. They have the best sour dough in the IE without a doubt. 3: Sweet Flour Bakery, Jurupa Valley. The only home bakery on the list. Their flaky pastries had incredible separation and crunch. I was also a huge fan of their savory danishes and their unique flavors. 2: Flour and Butter, Fontana. Flour and Butter operates inside of Mi Flor Mayor Coffee in Fontana. Their strawberry cheesecake danish is my favorite pastry on this entire list. 1: Two Ladds, Loma Linda. This is the best croissant I have had in the IE. They are true geniuses when it comes to flaky pastries and have nearly perfected the art.
