Hi, my name is Chelsea and I own a coffee shop in South Carolina. Earlier today I shared a video making our house vanilla syrup. I got a request for blueberry and I figured I'd show you how to do that really quick since summer is starting to wrap up and we're heading into fall flavors. We're going to start by warming up half a cup of water. Once your water starting to get hot, add in half a cup of sugar. Mix that and get the sugar dissolved in there. I'm going to add a cup of blueberries. We can use frozen or fresh, but I feel like the frozen has more juice in them. We're going to let that simmer for about 10 minutes without stirring it. Once that's been simmering for about 10 minutes, turn that off. Start mashing the blueberries. I like to use a cheesecloth, but a regular strainer works fine too. Store this in your fridge for up to two weeks. And comment another flavor that you'd like to see next.
