I am Chelsea, I own a coffee shop in South Carolina called The Drifter, and I've been teaching you how to make your own syrup at home. We've already started our fall flavors with our pumpkin spice syrup. Today we're going to do a toasted graham syrup. We're going to start with one cup of brown sugar, one cup of water. Next, we'll crush up four sheets of graham cracker. Add in a half a teaspoon of cinnamon and one teaspoon of molasses. We're going to let this simmer for about five minutes, but stir it often. You definitely want to strain this one really well without pressing those graham crackers through the strainer. Once you've strained that and it's cooled for a while, add in your vanilla extract. Make sure it's 100% pure vanilla, not the imitation vanilla. We put these in our refrigerated bottles because you want to keep this in the fridge. Store this one in your fridge for a week. We'll use this combined with our house vanilla to make our toasted graham lattes.
