Hi, I'm Chelsey. I own a coffee shop in South Carolina and we make all of our syrups in house. And I'm gonna teach you today how to make your own vanilla syrup so you can stop buying the store bought stuff. It's super easy, it's super cheap, and it tastes so much better. Start with one cup of water. Bring that to a boil. Take that off the heat. Add in a cup of sugar. Mix that in really good until the sugar is completely dissolved. Make sure that when you get your vanilla, you get pure vanilla extract. Don't get the imitation vanilla. It has that artificial taste to it. You'll put in one to two tablespoons per cup. I like to do about one and a half. I keep my mason jar. And I leave it on the counter because we go through it very quickly. This is good on the counter for a week. If you put it in the fridge, it can be good for two to three weeks. It's a start. So easy. So much better. Smells amazing, tastes amazing. And you know what kind of ingredients are in this. Stay tuned for our fall flavors that we are going to start experimenting with.
