You can pay taxpayers $40 billion for the right to own ABC

So Gina Rinehart is now pursuing legal action against the ABC. She wants to have ABC taken off air. She wanted to defund ABC long before they ever did a piece of satire which offended her. That has always been her plan. And now she wants to sue ABC and I'm gonna assume take it over. And this is what I love about the rich. That the rich believe that because they have the financial means, because they have the legal resources, to pursue what they think is justice. Woman, please. They pit themselves against a publicly funded, a taxpayer-funded broadcaster. But you ruined it. You ruined ABC. So now, if you wanna take down ABC, if you wanna own ABC, you can buy it. You can buy ABC back from the taxpayers who have paid for ABC since its inception. ABC was started in 1932. In the last 5 years ABC has cost taxpayers about $1.2 billion every year. So we, we taxpayers have funded the ABC. We have given up $1.2 billion of our own taxes every single year. So if Mrs. Gina Rinehart would like to take the ABC off air, if she'd like to own it, then she can pay what it costs to build. So the total sum for the past 94 years altogether, it comes to about, let's say, $40 billion, which, if I'm not mistaken, is the exact net worth of Gina Rinehart.
