He had very high expectations for our work ethic and was very hard on us in a way that today I'm very grateful for because he did create this sense of, um, like, if I want a life that I love, then I have to create it for myself. We always wanted to become less dependent on him at the earliest age possible so that we could feel good about ourselves. You know, I think that there's a lot of like, when you're not living up to your potential and you're not living your life based on your own merit, it feels very bad.
