If you wanna work with brands or you wanna be gifted by brands, this one's for you. Get your notebook, get your pen, cause imma tell y'all what the brands are looking for. This may be surprising to y'all, but when I'm working on a brand account and I'm looking through accounts to see who we wanna work with, when I go on your page, I do a maximum 20 second scroll to see if I wanna add you to my list or not. First thing that we're gonna see is your feed. While your feed is not everything, it does matter because it tells me basically the summary of your page. When we're looking for creators to work with, we have to build list of a lot of creators. We don't have time to go through and really watch your content. We may click on the video and see a couple seconds and just get the overall vibe of your page. We're not watching your whole videos. This is why it's important to be somewhat consistent in your content. Because when I do that quick little scroll and I quick click on a couple videos, I should be able to get the gist of what your content is about. When I was doing gifting for a fragrance page, I would scroll, look at a person's content, and the question that I would ask myself is, can this product live in this person's world, or can it live on this person's page. If a brand can see their product seamlessly integrated into your content, you're in there. Let's say you're a food creator in New York. If I'm a restaurant that wants to bring influencers in, I'm gonna search New York City food, quite literally New York City lunch, and see whose video comes up, who makes videos within that niche, and invite them to my restaurant. Sometimes we're searching that way. Sometimes the creators come to the brand. If there's something you use all the time somewhere you go all the time. Tag the brand. Let's say I use EADEM everyday. I do. Hey, EADEM. We use this everyday. Start posting it. Put it in your routines. Integrate it into your content. Tag the brand all the time. Promise you, they're gonna see it a lot of times, they're gonna comment. Because brands love to engage with their fans. They're gonna comment. And if you tag them enough times and get on their radar, and they like, you know, the way your content looks in your page, they might work with you. Literally just never know. But that's one way to build a relationship with the brand. This is what you can do for your page. Look at your own personal page on TikTok. In your grid, think about the content that you make, how it looks, and what brands will fit here. Think about the brands that you would like to target, the brands that you love, the Brands you want P.R. From. And think about what you would need to change to get there. Let's say you wanna be in Sephora Squad. Get in the mind of Sephora Squad. Look at your page and say, if I were Sephora Squad, would I work with me? Just a thing to think about. But that's just my perspective. Take my advice or don't. If you get a brand deal, don't forget about me.
