It is okay to make money. You should want to make money. Like, I was making $120,000 right out of college. I went down to $60,000 salary because I so badly want to work at a fast-growing startup. My friends were like, whoa, that's a lot of information telling me, telling me, women, we're taught not ever to talk about money. The barriers to entry for women to start a business have never been lower right now. Pick up your phone, think about what you can create. Infrastructure like Shopify that can literally make it happen overnight. Like there are so many ways that women don't have gatekeepers in the same way. But when you're doing that, think about how you are actually going to survive off of what you are passionate about. If you can't sell and actually make money, you just have a passion project. You don't have a business. Amen. A-women. Yes!
