A new foundation just launching and you really wanna try it but how do you figure out your shade? I like to start by swatching some of my current go-to foundations on my skin as a reference point. When I search these foundations on the Sephora website and I look at the description of the shades, most of these are described as light, medium, neutral. That's gonna give me the range I need to stick to in the new foundation that I wanna try. For the Rare Beauty True to Myself Foundation shades 15, 16 and 18 are described as light, medium neutral. I'm thinking shade 18 which is light medium neutral with a neutral olive undertone is gonna work for me. This is a breathable medium to full coverage foundation with a natural matte finish that is also sweat, humidity, and smudge-proof. So it's great for summer. Perfect match and amazing foundation. Shade matching doesn't have to be so stressful. Visit your local Sephora to get familiar with different shades. In person, ask a beauty advisor for some help and make sure you get a sample to take home to try it and make sure you really really like it before you buy a full bottle.
