Why it worked

The video uses a relatable scenario (being spoiled on a show) and then seamlessly integrates a promotion for the streaming service by framing it as a shared viewing experience, leveraging the creator's persona and the popularity of the show.

Summary

A creator humorously reacts to a friend spoiling a show they haven't seen, then pivots to promoting the streaming service "Crave" as the platform to watch "House of the Dragon."

Product placement

Crave: (a) it ACTS - it is the platform where "House of the Dragon" is available to stream, and the video encourages viewers to use it. Removing it would change the video's call to action and purpose. (b) it merely APPEARS - a logo appears on screen. Removing it would not change what happens in the video.
