If you watch beauty YouTube back in the day, then you definitely remember when we all had highlight blindness. Cause there was a period in the 2000 tens when highlight was not supposed to be subtle. We were highlighting everything from the top of our cheekbones to the bridge of our nose to the tips of our nose. And at some point we were basically highlighting our whole entire face. You wanted to be blinding and beauty YouTube absolutely fueled this trend and the products were in abundance during this time. Anastasia had a whole highlighting palette. Beauty collabs were going crazy. Jaclyn Hill and Becca Cosmetics with Champagne Pop. And we all wanted to get our hands on the Anastasia and Amrezi highlighters. Everything from Laura Geller, Gilded Honey Max, Soft and gentle, affordable options like Wet and Wild Mega Glow highlighters were everywhere in the 2000 tens. Back then, if you were not reflecting, you were not highlighting right. Also, the trends on YouTube like full face of highlighters. This arrow was so crazy. I absolutely miss when we used to do highlighters like this. You don't see really much of this anymore. I felt like when highlighting was done right, makeup looked genuinely beautiful and soft with these highlighters. So yeah, you have to let me know. Did you have highlight blindness back in the day?
