Come with me to Barcelona on a solo trip. The last time I went to Barcelona was in 2019, so it's been a long time. I always get the earliest flight of the day because I want to make the most out of my day when I land. Don't get it twisted, I always regret this decision when I get onto the plane. Why am I on a plane at 6 AM? I definitely count out for this whole flight. The queue for passport control looked mad, but it was actually very quick. Got through there, picked up my luggage. I've never lost any of my luggage when getting on a flight, touch wood, it never happens. But yeah, this is the airport fit of the day. Very clean, if I must say. I don't know if it's just me, but I find it so awkward when I'm walking out of the airport and there's a massive group of people waiting for that family or friends, and then I just know that none of my people are in that crowd and it's just like, damn. Easy got no emotion. I hate to see it. Jumped into the Uber. The weather is looking amazing. It's going to rain later. To my hotel in about 20 minutes. The hotel is also like a five-minute bike ride away from the beach, so yeah, this location is perfect. For just €20, I was able to check into my hotel room at 10 AM. We are so late. This is what the hotel room is looking like. Very nice, no complaints. I do not miss when it comes to looking for accommodations. I am the goat of finding accommodations. I'm not really staying at Airbnbs as much anymore because I really don't like the idea of having to clean up after myself every single day. I'd rather just stay in London if I wanted to do that. Oh yeah, this hotel has a lot of amenities. It has a spa, a gym, two rooftop terraces, two restaurants, or laundry area. It also has co-working areas as well. So if you're still working whilst on holiday, you can do that. And it has a communal kitchen as well, which might be useful if you want to cook, but I will not be cooking. Oh my sweets! Vegan Bears. El Origen Organic Plantain Chips. Sal de Ibiza. Mix de Luxe. Nuts & Raisins. The Social Hub. Fritz Ravich. Pop Corn. The good-to-know stuff. Minibar. Sal de Ibiza Chips. Morning Glory. Skross. I went to the beach and then I went to the gym. I went to Soho House. Barcelona. I'm not really a big fan of Soho House. I've been to a few and I've never really liked them. I don't know why. I just don't like the vibe. But yeah, this one was okay. I guess. I went to the pool. I'm not really a big fan of swimming. I've always been scared of water. But I'm trying to learn how to float again and I'm also trying to get my breaststroke. Better. Give me some advice in the comments because I know my breaststroke doesn't look that good. I'm watching TikTok videos to try and learn. But damn, swimming is actually a workout. Always forget how hard swimming is compared to running. I feel like running is easier for me in terms of my lungs, but swimming is just difficult. After my session, I went home to get changed. So I can go to a run club. Yes, I'm going to a run club. I found it online, randomly, and we just said to each other, let's just go on this run anyway, get to know each other, which we did. One of the guys at the front was just giving us a tour because he's actually part of the run club. I think he's one of the leaders. But yeah, the views were insane and the rain didn't eventually stop. So I did get this beautiful sunset. Oh yeah, shout out Ed as well. He's from London and he's also in Barcelona at the same time. So he said, yeah, let's link up at this run club. But yeah, what a sick run. I think we did like 7K at like a 10 pace. This is the fit for the night. Time to stroll through the city. Went for some basketball because I was just walking and I just seen these guys hooping and I air-board in front of a group of Americans. This is so embarrassing, but yeah, I did get my get back. I can't lie though, I need to get back into the lab. I need to start training again. But yeah, that's me out. Peace.
