Getting preferential treatment in Indonesia cuz I'm black?

I think I'm getting preferential treatment in Indonesia because I'm black and there's also a blend of like Indonesians I'm learning are just amazing and incredibly hospitable human beings. I was able to arrange a taxi from my booking in the middle of nowhere within like 20 minutes to basically take me an hour and 15 minutes to catch the ferry to Bali and my Uber driver was absolutely amazing. He wasn't an Uber driver, but the driver that they arranged was like absolutely amazing and I honestly thought he was just gonna dump me like a normal taxi and just like had me think for myself. But he literally makes a point to stop me on the way to the ferry to like make sure I have a ticket, which I didn't have. I was trying to sort it out as he was driving. So he takes me to this guy, he knows I get my ferry ticket and it's like okay whatever in a typical Indonesian fashion. They basically saw me like running through the ferry port fighting for my life to try to make this 12 o'clock ferry and every single worker took it upon like their personal mission to like help me get this ferry. So they saw that I was running and they were like actively giving me directions as I'm running like go here, go down, make a left, you know, like sprint here, like whatever, whatever. And I get to the end of the port, barely makes it, miss the ferry. Like it is what it is. When I end up meeting a guy at the end that's like, hey, like do you need a taxi? And never in a million years would I ever have said yeah. I probably would have just been like, you know, don't even like worry about it. I don't really trust strangers like that. But Indonesia is the first place I've traveled in a while where I feel like I can genuinely trust a lot of the citizens here. So I've stepped outside my comfort zone already. Arranged a taxi from this guy that was like standing down at the end of the ferry, like also like selling shades. But it just feels good to be in a country, sorry I have something on my mouth. It feels good to be in a country where not only you're like tolerated, you're like celebrated. And I am just now self collecting myself to be on the Indonesian like tour board. I'm headed to Bali right now and I just really haven't been this blown away from a country in quite some time. And I think I'm now ready to say Indonesia is my favorite country.
