Most people think their brain makes them who they are, and there's not much they can do about it. But that couldn't be further from the truth. It turns out that your brain constantly changes in response to the thoughts you choose to think and the choices you make. That's the beautiful intersection of scriptures like Romans 12:2 and II Corinthians 10:5 with 21st-century neuroscience. It breaks down if you believe your automatic thoughts and feelings are true and that you're forced to react to them. I call that brain management mode, and it leads to anxiety and overwhelm. But once you learn that your mind is in charge of your brain, you unlock self-brain surgeon mode, operate from a renewed mind (Ephesians 4:23), and step into the hope of real change. Follow me to learn how, share this with a friend who needs some hope that change is possible, and save this for the next time you slip into brain management mode. Chrck out my latest book at the link in my bio to learn more about self-brain surgery.
