if there’s one hill we will DIE on, it’s this: toned has nothing to do with your step count. here’s what really goes into getting that “toned” look: 1. toned = muscle + low body fat — you can lose the weight, but if there’s no muscle underneath, you still won’t get that toned look 2. strong ALWAYS comes first — the goal isn’t “lose weight,” it’s build muscle, then lose fat on top of it. that’s the actual order to see visible results 3. implement progressive overload — something has to get harder every week (more weight, slower tempo, less rest) or your body has no reason to change 4. steps help your heart, not your shape — 20k a day was never the answer (we know 🙂↕️) — keep walking + getting your steps in for your health + daily movement, just don’t expect it to sculpt anything on its own nothing will make you fall in love with training like watching your body get stronger and realizing what it’s actually capable of 💪🏼🫶🏼
