if you’ve been training for months and not seeing the results you want, this is probably why: 1. “toned” is just muscle. if you are trying to get toned know this: definition comes from building muscle (accelerated with heavier weights) and lowering body fat 2. the last two reps have to be hard. if they’re not, your muscle isn’t being challenged enough to grow. upgrade from those 10s girl!!! 3. trust me…you will not get bulky. I know that a lot of women are scared of this — don’t be!! women have a fraction of the testosterone needed for that. heavy weights build the lean defined look most women are trying to build 💪🏼 4. heavier loads recruit more muscle fibers and the more fibers you activate in one movement…the more definition you build over time!! 5. progressive overload is what will make all the difference. something HAS to progress every single week to see a change. weight, reps, tempo, rest time. if nothing changes in your workout, nothing changes in your body keep this in mind too: resistance comes in more forms than just adding weight — tempo, pauses, pulses, and shorter rest periods can make a 15lb dumbbell feel like 30 in 2 weeks you’ll feel it. in 4 weeks you’ll see it. in 8 weeks someone will ask you what you’ve been doing 🧚🏼♀️💪🏼🫶🏼
