Lat workout for width — nobody's ever looked wide from the front. You can't see them. That's the whole problem. Chest, arms, abs, front delts — you check those every time you walk past glass. Your lats sit behind you and give you nothing back while you're working them. No feedback, no ego hit, so they quietly get the leftover effort. Then it's five years later, you're heavier than you've ever been, and the outline in the mirror is the same one you started with. And when the width doesn't show up, guys go the wrong way with it. Cut ten pounds. Tighten the waist. Wait for the shape to appear. It doesn't. You just get a smaller version of the same outline. You don't diet into a taper. You build the top of it.
