Okay guys, here's a storytime. It's not that juicy but I'll share with you my feedback. So today was my fourth and final interview. I had to present a case study to share with the team. After I finished my case study, that is when I received the AI note taker summary of our entire call even after I jumped off. From the get-go, the key takeaway was hiring decision. No. Morgan had a great case study but lacked the executive presence. And I lacked confidence basically. So someone suggested why don't we put her in another role in which they rejected that and said why would we hire someone who would be the worst person in the company. After reading the summary, I decided to take it upon myself and watch the video of the call that was linked in the email. So after I jumped off the call, there were four people who basically all thumbs up or thumbs down if they thought that I should be hired. I didn't even know that was a thing. So I just had to watch all these people like, um, you know, um, the feedback was that I lacked confidence. I was timid and I lacked confidence basically. So someone suggested, why don't we put her in another role and which they rejected that and said, why would we hire someone who would be the worst person in the company? I take that feedback. I'm glad I got the feedback, you know, I think that any kind of feedback can help me grow and learn and I will take that home with me and I will be practicing. You best believe it. I will not be posting the video. It's a startup company. They obviously don't know what they're doing. I don't think that I was ever supposed to receive this summary. So I did email them back. I emailed back everyone that I interviewed with just saying thank you for the time. But for the email, I did send them, I said, you know, I did receive the meeting summary and saw the decision was made and although I am sad that I will not be moving forward, I appreciate the time, you know, I did want to let them know in the nicest way possible that I did receive the email, the follow-up for them to give me feedback is no longer needed. I got the feedback already. So, yeah, I don't know. I was nervous. My grandma was coming from the hospital, five minutes before my call started. I'm not making that an excuse. But what I'm going to take from this is that I need to work on bringing this energy that I have on TikTok to my interview calls and my presentations and hopefully I land the next one. So that's the story time. I wish it was better. I did email them back.
