What I eat in a day in a small surplus as someone who is trying to grow muscle while staying lean! 🤍 I’ve really been trying to focus on what I’m using to fuel my body lately with an emphasis on whole foods (protein sources that have a mom and a dad lol) and meeting my fiber and other micronutrient goals that I was previously overlooking. I’m currently eating about 2500 calories daily and anywhere from 150-200 g of protein a day. Pre-workout: Rice Cakes and Honey Breakfast (my fav meal of the day): 1 egg, egg whites, toast, cheese (full-fat), and cold brew with skim milk and artificial sweetener (I’ve been trying to reduce my artificial sweetener intake so this is all I use it for) Lunch: Protein shake with skim milk, nonfat greek yogurt, oatmeal, chia seeds, cocoa powder, frozen fruit, and creatine (I don’t love eating lunch because I’m usually busy so a protein shake has been the easiest thing for me) Dinner: Greek Yogurt Pizza! This is extremely customizable, mine is more on the higher calorie side but it just depends what you put on it. I included spinach and chicken breast with full-fat cheese on mine. Dessert: Ninja Creami! I recently got one so I’m still experimenting with recipes but I’ve been using skim milk and honey as the base for mine. This one is chocolate so I included cocoa powder and then melted some dark chocolate chips for the mix in. That’s all! Just a reminder not to base your calorie or macro goals on anyone else’s because everyone’s body is different and it’s highly variable. I’m just sharing what works for me and the meals I like! Also open to hearing any suggestions because I’m always learning 🤩 @DFYNE #wieiad #highproteinmeals #recipes #gymmotivation #workout
