We're on Japan Airlines economy from London to Tokyo

We're on Japan Airlines economy from London to Tokyo and it's meal time So you know what that means It means we're doing a food review Now when I flew back from Tokyo last time I was on premium economy and when I did my food review a lot of people in the comments said that economy and premium have the same meal So we're gonna see if that's the case This is what we are working with and I got the Japanese meal which was a beef burger with rice Supposedly Japan Airlines is one of the best economy classes in the world if not the best And I have to say when it comes to food it's pretty good First of all on economy silverware and a set of chopsticks And you get a trio of different salads So we're gonna start with this little salmon and brown rice salad We've got some edamame we've got a bit of salmon brown rice peppers and some spinach and some spinach Salad No 2 Looks like we got a little steamed spinach some kind of carrots and bean sprouts maybe and then this will either be tofu or fish cake Smash It's like a fried tofu cake And that is blooming delicious Oh my God the veggies with that are so good as well Dare I say this is beating the premium company meal That is so good And then we got a little like classic salad with an Italian dressing I'll have that on the side there but totally forgot to say they also gave me miso soup It's great miso soup I really enjoyed it last time as well Now let's see what this burger is saying It looked good in the photo it doesn't smell of much which I wasn't really expecting But we got sticky rice Love that Some shiitake mushrooms beans carrots and the burger and what looks like Soy braised onions I reckon on top I'm not too sure how I feel about the dressing on top It looks very like jellyish That burger tastes incredible Don't love the jelly on top so I'm gonna take that off It's flavourless and I don't like the texture but the flavour in the burger is so good it's just rice I did find this last time they don't season with vinegar or anything Also got the cutest little fruit platter Again rare that in economy you see fresh cut fruit And last time it was really good fruit I have to say JAL Food is hands down the best airplane food that I've ever eaten
