This morning called for a little comfort and a little nostalgia. ☕️🤍 We didn’t have any bacon or pancake mix, so I went old school and made homemade French toast instead. Bread dipped in eggs with a splash of milk, vanilla and cinnamon, then cooked right on the stove. I remember my mom making French toast like this all the time growing up. And today definitely called for percolator coffee. ☕️ I woke up with horrible back pain, I’ve been without my thyroid medicine for over a week because of insurance issues, and we just survived the first few days of back-to-school season.
