If you're trying to get into software engineering, I urge you to set up your own home server. We software engineers are increasingly being required to understand network engineering. Now the AI has kind of pushed us out of the coding job. But if you're a student, you're visualizing servers as these big blinking rack units and gigantic warehouses. It doesn't have to be like that. It can be an old junkie laptop you have lying around. Just go download the Linux Ubuntu server operating system. Click the .exe file. The guide will walk you through setting it up on your junkie old laptop. I'm not going to walk you through the configuration, but you can set it up on your home Wi-Fi and then you can access your apps on it and you can access your apps from anywhere. It's running on your own server and it's costing you nothing.
