which camera settings should you use on your Samsung phone? First things first, go to the Galaxy store, not the Play Store, and install the app Good Lock. Then from Good Lock, install the Camera Assistant and that's where we'll be tweaking the camera. First thing to turn off is auto lens switching. Have you ever tried to use lenses on your phone and it just looks absolutely terrible and you later realized that it was actually using the main camera, other lenses that you didn't want to use? Turning off this feature avoids that entirely. When you click on the lens in your camera app, it actually uses that lens. Amazing feature. Then go to photo softening and set that to medium. What photo softening is actually just reducing how much over sharpening the phone does. And by default, it's turned off. And the photos are just a little too over sharpened from Samsung phone. So setting it to medium is the sweet spot. If you do have a Galaxy S26, go to the 24 megapixel mode and turn that on because that is the sweet spot for megapixels. It's not too low and it's not too high. I feel like 12 megapixels isn't enough nowadays, and 24 is perfect without being too high resolution. So definitely turn that on and enjoy your camera experience.
