I work for a luxury handbag resale company and I'm going to tell you my opinion on some of our favorite luxury handbag brands. Up first, we have Coach. I know some of y'all like to say that Coach is not a luxury brand, but I'm here to tell you it absolutely is. Not only is Coach a luxury brand, it's the oldest American luxury brand besides Tiffany. So put some respect on her. Coach has some of the absolute best leather in the game. They developed their own type of leather called glove tan leather, which like a baseball glove, it gets better over time but it's still strong and very durable. Baseball players use their gloves for years because the leather on a baseball glove gets better over time. Coach used that as the inspiration for their leather and now their bags get better over time. If you want a leather bag that's going to last you forever, get a Coach bag. I promise. The monogram and the fucking canvas. Okay. Not the best. But the leather baby, 10 out of 10. Also, Coach bags are kind of high in price, but most Coach bags are pretty affordable. This is the Tabby, which is very popular. She's only $400. This is the Empire Carryall bag, which people love and it's only $700. I say only because, look at Loewe. Loewe bags are made with some of the finest leather in the world. The shit is literally like butter and the craftsmanship on these bags are top tier. The puzzle bag for instance, which is probably their most iconic bag, is made out of nine different pieces of leather and takes over nine hours to make. Loewe is one of those brands like Bottega that are made for people who like art and design, not just a logo printed all over a canvas bag. My thing though is I don't think there are many Loewe bags that I actually like. I feel like Loewe bags sometimes tito the line between artistic and like who the fuck is wearing this. Also, my first luxury item was an MCM backpack that I begged my mother for when I was in high school. And finally, we have Loewe. To me, Loewe is one of those brands where the price actually does match the product. Loewe has some of the finest leather in the world. Let me know which brands I should get into next.
