"I gave him my paycheck" WHAT?? HOW AND WHY

How on earth does it ever reach the point to the point that you are sending a man your entire paycheck? I've seen multiple videos at this point where women post and it's like a humorous video, whatever, they're like poking fun at themselves, but they'll be like, me and I am about to laugh at a joke about birds or like women who are birds, but I remember that I literally used to send him my entire paycheck and I was also doing online school for him at the time as well. So I would get home from my job, um, where I would like give him all of my money and then I would log into the computer to do all of his assignments. I'm like, this is fake, right? This is fake for engagement, right? Like please don't tell me this shit is real. What happens mentally for you to do that? I I cannot comprehend dating a guy and asking him to complete one page of a worksheet for a degree that he's working towards and me saying yes. I just can't see that happening. Well, that was a funny joke. I mean, this is your degree, right? Why would I confuse? Like, what are you talking about? How does it get to this point? And then you look in the comments and people will be like, Oh my gosh, girl, like were you guys married? And they'll be like, no, it was actually more of like a situationship, um, and then, you know, he led me on for like three years. I'm like, I don't know if I have a different, um, patience level than other people because honestly, by week two, if like it's not clear what's going on, I'm out.
