Why it worked

The video likely worked due to its visually intriguing and mysterious aesthetic, created through simple means (smartphone and lighting). The split-screen format and the focus on the hand's movement create a sense of suspense and artistic expression, encouraging viewers to watch until the end to see the "making of" and the final title card.

Summary

The video shows a split screen. The top screen displays a hand moving in a green-lit environment, creating a visual effect. The bottom screen shows a person kneeling, operating a smartphone on a tripod with a green light source, presumably filming the hand and creating the effect. The video ends with a "FILM BY SUBI_EDITZ" title card.
