Hook
Girl does the front of your bathtub look like this or maybe this, this, or this? The ghetto. All right, let me show you how to fix it, waterproof it, prevent mold, yellow. Let's get it going. Step one, if there's already silicone or caulking, cut it all out using a razor or a knife. Clean it, bleach it, vinegar it, spray it. I don't care. Now you're ready for a new layer of silicone or caulk, whatever you want to call it. I'm in the middle of using my tube, so I'm just gonna pull the end off and I'm ready to go. Your silicone needs to be 100% silicone waterproof. Yes, it makes a difference. I don't care about your opinion. If you're opening a new tube on your caulking gun, you can cut the tip here, you can pierce it here. I'm gonna start at this corner and I'm gonna pull along the entire edge. Don't be afraid if it looks busted and crusty in the beginning. We're gonna fix it. Now once you're at this ugly stage, you can use your finger, you can use a sponge, you can use a rag. I don't care, but it's gotta be wet because it glides nicer. I start in one corner and you just gently apply pressure and pull. It already looks so much better. You can always go over it again if you're not happy with it or if you want a thicker bead. I do recommend a thicker bead on the bottom because your tub can flex and move and so can your floor. That's really it, boys. It's super simple. As always, good luck on your next project.
