This was the most common comment I got from adult men when I was a little girl. "You're gonna make a great lawyer." That's code speak for your little bit. I used to question all my uncles as to why they would sit around while my aunties cooked for six hours and washed the dishes after. And when they couldn't come up with an answer, they'd just laugh in my face and tell me I'd be a "great lawyer." So here's my personal guide on how to react when you get dismissed because a man has no comeback for you. 1) Laugh at them. That's so funny, uncle. I can't wait to see you in diapers one day because you've grown up to be just like me. 2) Remind them that if I do become a lawyer, I'll make sure to sue you on behalf of your wife for emotional distress. 3) Keep being angry! Because they want you to think that you can't do anything, but you can, as long as you don't settle. A man's anger is him being strong, but a woman's anger is childish. Girls aren't angry enough if you ask me. Good luck dealing with your uncles. Pls don't go bald.
